Things Got Juicy
You read that right. Things got juicy thanks to my Pressed Juicery cleanse.
Disclaimer: I know some people don’t agree with juice cleanses but the pure point of me doing this was to reset my body. I had been eating bad and needed to get back on track so I decided a cleanse was would be best for me. What works for me may not work for you and that’s OKAY.
Okay, back to the juicy stuff. lol
I decided to do Cleanse 2, which is considered to be their most popular one. I bought two days worth of juices just to see but I truly only wanted to do one day. So this is how my day of juicing went.
Juice #1: 10 am
Greens 2: apple, cucumber, celery, lemon, spinach, kale, parsley
By this time I was definitely ready for my first juice and man it was a good one. I could drink the Greens 2 everyday and never stop loving it. It’s the perfect green juice, considering I don’t love celery and I barley tasted it.
Juice #2: 12 pm
Citrus 2: apple, pineapple, lemon, mint
Okay this one was like a sweet treat. It tasted really good but I feel like it almost would’ve been better later in the day as like the 4th or 5th juice.
Juice #3: 2:15 pm
Greens 3: apple, cucumber, celery, lemon, spinach, ginger, kale, parsley
This one was very filling, but not as good as the first greens. I tasted the celery a bit more.
Juice #4: 4 pm
Roots 3: apple, lemon, ginger, beet
I have never hated a juice more. I don’t like beets (I think they taste like dirt - sorry if you like em). But seriously, I almost couldn’t finish this one.
Juice #5: 6:15 pm
Citrus 1: cucumber, pineapple, coconut water, lemon, aloe vera
I truly don’t even know if I tasted or enjoyed this one due to the fact that my lovely boyfriend decided to sit next to me and eat a gourmet meal while I drank my JUICE.
Juice #6: 8:40 pm
Vanilla Almond: almonds, dates, vanilla, sea salt
Okay so by this time I was like HUNGRY. But, I blame it on the fact that I was 45 min late to drinking it due to the target workers who took forever to find my order pickup. This also was super thick and tasted chalky to me but it did its job and filled me up.
RESULTS
I honestly really enjoyed it. The hardest part was just the fact that I wanted to chew on food, I wasn’t actually hungry. Just the concept, ya know?
I woke up the next day and thought I would be starving and I honestly could’ve probably had a juice. I really liked the way I felt and it made me want to eat clean. I would highly recommend a Pressed Juicery Juice Cleanse as a reset for your body.
Would I do it again? Absolutely! Would I do multiple days in a row? Probably not.
