October - You Were a Dream
Hi, it’s me!
Remember how I said I wanted to do monthly recaps on my blog along with Instagram? Well 2 months in and I have failed. But in all fairness, October was hands down one of the best months & I needed an extra month to just take it all in. Okay?
Now, let the recap begin!
WE GOT ENGAGED -
YES, you heard that correctly! It’s been over a month now and I still cant believe it. I’ll tell the whole story in another post dedicated to the engagement only. But for now, just know Zac could not have pulled off a better surprise (I’m very hard to surprise) and October 21, 2023 will forever be one of the best days of my life.
Traveling, Traveling & More Traveling -
This month was full of travel compared to September and I loved every minute of it. We spent a week in Oahu with my brother, Ryan, and his girlfriend, Kat. The trip was full of exploring beaches, eating poke and drinking ALL the mai tais. I’d like to go back now, please & thank you!
A week later we headed down to San Diego with Zac’s family for his cousin Cameron’s wedding. It was such a beautiful wedding and we had so much fun getting to celebrate Nicole & him. We spent time in Carlsbad shopping, eating & drinking (what I do best) and little did I know, a proposal was going to get thrown in the mix.
Much Needed Vitamin D -
Since October is one of the last warmer months of the year, I made it a point to get outside. Meaning more hikes, walks, pickle ball dates, etc. Catch me on the pickle ball courts, I’m practically a pro.
Celebrating with Friends -
My best friend Kelsey turned the big 3 - 0 this month and obviously that meant it was time for a PARTYYY! I love a good theme and she decided to do “Death to her 20’s” theme. We went around the city in a party bus and stopped at a couple of bars along with the Golden Gate Bridge. It was literally the most perfect night with no fog - which is unheard of for the city. The whole night was filled with lots of drinks, laughs and dancing. We said goodbye to her 20’s the right way, that’s forsure.
