Hi, it’s me! Remember how I said I wanted to do monthly recaps on my blog along with Instagram? Well 2 months in and I have failed. But in all fairness, October was hands down one of the best months & I needed an extra month to just take it all in. Okay? Now, let the recap begin!
This past month was a GOOD one. Let me tell you - I have been so busy this past year with weddings, trips, birthdays, etc. that it felt nice to not have any set plans. This month I finally just got to chill and it was much needed. But don’t you worry - I still started my month out with a trip, because what’s a month without at least one trip, right?
Hello hello!
It’s been some time since I’ve been on here, but I promise I have good reason to have taken some time away. Here’s a few quick updates on what I’ve been up to.
Calling all Maid of Honor’s (MOH’s), I repeat calling all MOH’s!
This year I got lucky enough to not only be the MOH for one bride, but TWO brides! Now keep in mind I have never done this before and so it’s definitely been a learning experience, which is exactly why I feel like I need to share.
You read that right. Things got juicy this past Monday thanks to my Pressed Juicery cleanse.
Disclaimer: I know some people don’t agree with juice cleanses but the pure point of me doing this was to reset my body.
Okay, I don’t want to rag on any of you but honestly I’m ragging on you if you aren’t following a skincare routine. I know I know, “who cares I wash my face sometimes and use moisturizer.” Great, glad you wash your face but how about a routine with actual steps? That you follow every morning and every night.
Lets face it, your typical dinner date or movie night can get a little boring sometimes right? Don't get me wrong, I love going out to dinner and having chill nights in, but recently I have been all about day dates.
As we are all very aware, we are going through a global pandemic. COVID-19 has completely changed everyone's daily lives. As we are all stuck in our houses trying to overcome these crazy times, it can be hard to stay busy.
This is by FAR my favorite alcoholic drink. I honestly am not the biggest fan of beer, but I would take this over a margarita ANY day. Just in time for Cinco De Mayo, here is my famous Michelada recipe! Most recipes on the internet will use Clamato juice. I have used it before, but I like it better without for a couple of reasons.
This is seriously one of the easiest recipes ever. It literally takes about 5 minutes and most of the ingredients are things you probably already have laying around the kitchen! Hummus is such a good mid-day snack or perfect to put on a wrap for lunch. Instead of buying it at the grocery store, why not take a couple minutes out of your day and make it yourself so you know its clean and fresh.
With everything going on in the world, I decided it was time for me to start baking. What’s better than a (somewhat) healthy banana bread to start with? There’s no butter in this recipe AND it’s seriously so easy. ENJOY!
A couple months ago, Zac and I decided we needed to get away. We wanted to travel to a place we’ve both never been to while staying in California. This led us to the decision of Joshua Tree!
Well hey there! Again - I am behind but we are catching up on these and will stay up to date, SWEAR. November was a full month of travel, parties, family, friends and your two most favorite pups! Here we go.
